Dust Monitoring System

ES-642 Dust Monitoring System Overview

Dust that is produced by construction activities can be monitored continuously and accurately.

By recording the average concentrations over a set time period you can assess the risk to the health of workers on site and to the general public in the affected area in an objective manner in accordance with the applicable guidelines.

Boundary monitoring can be implimented to ensure works are not exceeding effective compliance regulations.

The ES-642 measures particulate concentration using a highly sensitive forward scatter laser nephelometer, which has a measurement range of 0 to 100 mg/cubic meter (0 to 100,000 μg/cubic meter). As supplied, the ES-642 provides TSP particulate monitoring. Optional sharp-cut cyclones are available for PM1, PM2.5, or PM10.
